Our Covenant
What we promise each other
Every family on this land signs the same covenant. It's not a list of restrictions — it's a shared promise about how we'll live, build, and treat each other. In plain English, here's what we agree to.
Sustainability above convenience
Every decision — from how we build to what we plant to how we govern — is measured against whether our grandchildren will inherit a healthier place than we found. Cheaper, faster, and easier come second to lasting and right.
The golden rule, in practice
We treat each neighbor the way we'd want to be treated — in disagreements, in shared resources, in how we welcome people. This isn't a slogan. It's how disputes get resolved and how decisions get made.
We build what we need, ourselves
Our school, our food, our water, our businesses, our birth help, our shared amenities — created by and for the people who live here. We rely on outside systems where it makes sense, but the goal is genuine self-sufficiency.
Land that stays in good hands
Parcels can be passed down, sold within the community, or sold outside it under conditions that protect the covenant. No subdividing into postage stamps. No flipping for profit. The land outlives all of us; we steward it accordingly.

Five communities, one Hereafter
150+ families have already chosen The Hereafter. Phase 1, the Estates, the Village LLC, Creekside, and the Micro Community are sold out. There are two ways for new families to join us today.
$4,000 gets you your own assigned 1/4 acre plot on 30 shared acres. 25 spots total, available now.
Larger deeded parcels — 1.25 acres in Phase 1, 4–5 acres in the Estates — come up when an existing member moves on. Rarer, no fixed schedule, generally a higher price per parcel. Worth being on the waitlist if you want more land.
